Potosi, Bolivia, cob 8 reales, Philip II, assayer A. S-P11; KM-5.1; CT-157. 26.44 grams. Solid and essentially uncorroded but very darkly toned and with patches of dark orange encrustation on both sides, full P-A, full cross and shield (the latter slightly doubled). Recovered from: "Spice Islands wreck," sunk ca. 1629 off Southeast Asia (Estimate: $250 - 375)
