A note from BCD: An important contribution to the study of Greek coin forgeries. Although now superseded by "Becker the Counterfeiter" by G. F. Hill and "The Caprara Forgeries" by Philip Kinns, it remains a record of a brilliant mind that had the rare gift of picking out forgeries with very little help from past (and mostly unreliable) publications.
