A note from BCD: Otto Paul Wenger was a dealer with many fine qualities but perhaps he would be best characterized by his fairness and his simple, down to earth honest behaviour. Unfortunately for the collecting community he died too soon but even so he left behind some gems, of which this is a fine example. The photographs are from the stock of the Swiss Credit Bank where he worked and the colours and patinas of the bronzes are really superb.
