Catalogue of a sale of Greek and Roman Coins from various Collections in England, France, Germany, Italy, and America. 1134 lots, 47 pages, 32 tissue-protected plates. New quarter tan leather, gilt spine letters, bands. Original card covers bound in, front cover with fold line, otherwise Near Fine.
A note from BCD: The Greek coins, illustrated on the first 18 plates, are preceded by 22 Celtic, some of them illustrated on the first half of the first plate. There are some Roman Provincials illustrated amongst the Roman on the remaining 14 plates. A very useful catalogue for researching pedigrees.
