A note from BCD: Apart from the ten plates of Greek and (mostly) Roman gold, the extensive run of Venetian coins stands out with many coins reaching five figures with their hammer prices. One plate of enlargements shows the finest portraits amongst the numerous Roman gold coins on offer.
