China Yunnan Fu-Tien Bank $50 1927 Pick S3009B. An exceptionally uncommon, high denomination and locally printed example. As the printing technology in Yunnan at the time paled against that in Guangdong or Beijing, these notes were prepared with woodcut blocks. Because the bank later used American Bank Note Company prepared notes (even under the old Fu-Tien name), the majority of these notes were recalled and redeemed.
