Chekiang. Kuang-hsu 50 Cents (1898-1899) MS64 NGC, Hangchow mint, KM-Y54, L&M-283, Kann-120. Nicely struck, with full luster beneath light orange-golden patina and scattered small areas displaying darker russet toning. A few tiny marks, consistent with the grade, are visible under close examination and the overall appearance is exceptional. The finest example of this extremely rare issue we have seen, and a near-Gem beauty that would not seem out of place in an MS65 holder.
