Chihli (Pei Yang Arsenal). Kuang-hsu Dollar Year 33 (1907) MS63+ PCGS, Peiyang mint, KM-Y73.2, K-207a, L&M-464. A stunning example of this date and extremely desirable in this level of Mint State. Attractive tone wreaths the rims, lightening from deep blue into gold before fading entirely in the centers, leaving bright luster fully on display. We recently offered a comparable example of this type in our Hong Kong auction of December, 2016 (Auction 3050, Lot 37041) which hammered for $40,000.
