Kwangtung. Kuang-hsu silver Specimen Trial 1 Mace and 4-3/5 Candareens (20 Cents) ND (1889) SP65 PCGS, Heaton mint, KM-Y196, L&M-125 (125A?), Kann-18. A worthy match to the previous 10 Cent issue of this type Rare Trial type. The strike is superb, with a touch of golden and russet patina. The fields display the gorgeous satiny/prooflike appearance often seen with Heaton mint Specimen (Proof) issues. Only a very few tiny handling marks prevent a higher grade, but they do not interfere with the fabulous eye-appeal of this special coin. As with the previous 10 Cent issue, this piece is the finest example of the Heaton Trial issue certified by either PCGS, or NGC. Extremely rare with only a very few pieces known to exist.
