Obv: Helmeted head of Athena r. Rx: Owl standing r., head front, ATE before, sprig of olive leaves behind; all within incuse square.Obverse somewhat doublestruck. Exceptional early owl. This is one of the very rare first issues of Athena and the owl done as a trial issue for the Athenians. Only about 50 of these coins exist . VF
