Peter Paul Caravagio (1617-1688) war Mathematiker und Kriegsbaumeister. Er war Professor für Mathematik in Mailand und half erfolgreich bei der Verteidigung Tortonas im Jahr 1655. Sein Sohn trug denselben Namen und folgte ihm nach.
