GAUL. Massalia. Circa 475-460 BC. Obol (Silver, 10 mm, 0.84 g), Phokaic standard. Head of Athena to left, wearing Attic helmet adorned with a volute on the bowl. Rev. Rough incuse square. Auriol Annexe 2, 1. LT -. Maurel 101-102. Rare and beautifully toned. Slightly porous, otherwise, good very fine.
