THRACE. Ainos. Circa 357-342/1 BC. Drachm (Silver, 18 mm, 3.70 g, 1 h). Head of Hermes facing three-quarters to right, wearing petasos. Rev. AINION Cult statue of Hermes Perpheraios set to left on throne; to left, head of a goat to right. May, Ainos 449 (A276/P327). Rare. A very sharp and very attractive piece of lovely style. Slightly porous, otherwise, extremely fine.
