CELTIC, Northwest Gaul. Carnutes. Circa 50-30 BC. AE (Bronze, 16 mm, 2.96 g, 12 h), 'à la légende CATAL' type. Diademed and draped bust to right; before, monogram of KATAL. Rev. Winged lion walking right. DT 2591. LT 6337. SLM -. A lovely piece with a fine green patina. The reverse struck very slightly off center, otherwise, about extremely fine.
