CELTIC, Northeast Gaul. Bellovaci. Circa 60-30/25 BC. Cast unit (Potin, 17 mm, 3.90 g, 6 h), 'aux chevrons - type dérivés'. Disjointed head to left, with prominent eye and bristled hair. Rev. Horizontal line with three bristles facing backward above and symbol below. DT 535 var. (the head less disjointed, and with the reverse bristles facing forward). LT -. SLM -. An apparently unpublished variety. Nearly extremely fine.
