ΑΥΓΟΥΣΤΑΝΩΝ ΕΤΟΥΣ ϚΠ Draped bust of Dionysos to right, wearing wreath of ivy and fruit and with thyrsos over his left shoulder; behind, kantharos. Karbach 50-52. RPC III 3316 (same dies). SNG Paris 1898-1900 (same dies). A sharp and very attractive piece, perhaps the finest known. Faint scratches on the obverse, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
