CELTIC, Northeast Gaul. Suessiones. Circa 50-30 BC. Cast unit (Potin, 22 mm, 5.44 g, 2 h), 'au grand profil / cheval' type. Male bust to right, the hair in two strings of pearls, within border of annulets. Rev. Celticized horse springing left with volutes above and below; all within border of pellets and annulets. DT 215. LT 7862. SLM -. With a lovely brown-green patina. About extremely fine.
