Marcus Aurelius, as Caesar, 139-161. Sestertius (Orichalcum, 31 mm, 24.45 g, 10 h), Rome, 153-154. AVRELIVS CAESAR AVG PII FIL Bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust of Marcus Aurelius to right, seen from behind. Rev. TR POT VIII COS II / S C Minerva standing front, head to left, holding owl in her right hand and spear in her left; at her feet to right, shield set on ground. BMC 1956. Cohen 665 var. (without drapery). Kellner p. 113, pl. 8, Abb. 14 (this coin). RIC 1314. A lovely coin with a really fine portrait. Retoned, otherwise, good very fine.
