CELTIC, Southern Gaul. Volcae-Tectosages. Mid 2nd-early 1st century BC. Drachm (Silver, 16 mm, 3.01 g), 'à la croix' type. Celticized male head to left; before, two dolphins. Rev. Large cross with three ornaments and one axe in quarters; each quarter bound by crescent. Flesche 138 var. (differing style). LT 3132. SLM 71. A sharp and clear piece. Good extremely fine.
