Anonymous, time of Justinian I, circa 530. Half Siliqua (Silver, 15 mm, 1.17 g, 11 h), Constantinopolis. Helmeted and draped bust of Constantinopolis to right. Rev. Large K. Bendall, Anonymous, 8c. Vagi 3051. A sharply struck and unusually attractive example of this interesting issue. Minor surface cracks on the reverse, otherwise, good extremely fine.
