GRIM-VALD Crowned, draped and cuirassed bust of Grimoald III facing, holding globus cruciger in his right hand. Rev. VICTOR▽ PRINCI / S - R / C•ONO•B Cross potent on base and three steps. BMC Vandals 10 var. (with retrograde B in mintmark). CNI XVIII 24. A lovely, sharp and very attractively toned piece. Die break on the reverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
