ALAWI SHARIF: Isma'il al-Samin, 1672-1727, AV dinar bunduqi (3.41g), Meknès (Miknasa), DM, A-583, usual weakness, Very Fine to Extremely Fine, RR. The mint of Meknès is much rarer than Fès, especially with clear date. From an older collection in Japan, not from the recent hoard found circa 2006, nearly all of which were from the mint of Fès.
