TENASSERIM-PEGU: Anonymous, 17th-18th century, cast tin large coin (65.04g), Robinson-20var (Plate 9.1), 67mm, knotted dragon right with long protruding pointed tongue, 9 dots below the dragon // 3-line Burmese legend (somewhat carelessly engraved), bold fields, choice EF. Coins of this type, where the dragon rather resembles a snake, typically weigh in the 55g-75g range, and were found in the Perak hoard, noted by Robinson, pp. 56-58.
