TENASSERIM-PEGU: Anonymous, 17th-18th century, cast tin large coin (58.38g), Robinson-20var (Plate 9.1), 69mm, knotted dragon right with long protruding pointed tongue, no dots below the dragon // 3-line Burmese legend, minor surface cracks in the fields, bold EF. Coins of this type, where the dragon rather resembles a snake, typically weigh in the 55g-75g range, and were found in the Perak hoard, noted by Robinson, pp. 56-58.
