FATIMID: Interregnum, 1130-1131, AV dinar (3.99g), al-Mu'izziya al-Qahira (Cairo), AH525, A-734.1, Nicol 2594, in the name of al-imam muhammad in the obverse center, followed by abu'l-qasim al-muntazar bi-amr Allah ("the expected, by God's order"), several small scratches on both sides, especially towards the rim, probably from inept removal of something adhering to the surface, bold strike, EF, RRR, ex Gamal Amer Collection, ex Islamic Coin Auction 6, Lot 203. Dinars of the Interregnum were struck at Misr, al-Iskandariya, and al-Mu'izziya al-Qahira, of which al-Mu'izzya al-Qahira is by far the rarest, with only one example on CoinArchives.
