SALDUQIDS: 'Izz al-Din Salduq, 1129-1168, AE fals (1.94g), NM, ND, A-1890A, 'izz al-din in central circle // hollow cross pattée, 3 pellets at end of each arm and 1 pellet within each arm, perhaps the finest known example of this rare type, VF, RR. A.V. Akopyan has suggested that this type was minted at Dvin in Armenia, which was under Salduqid control circa 1153-1160. See Zeno-30762 for further information.
