CRUSADERS. Antioch. Tancred, regent, 1101-1112. Follis (Bronze, 20 mm, 2.63 g, 6 h). IC XC Nimbate bust of Jesus Christ facing, with pellet decorating each arm of nimbus. Rev. TA-NK/P-H in the quarters of a cross pommetée with pellets at the end of each arm and floral ornament at base. CCS 5. Metcalf 83. Schlumberger pl. 2, 8. Wäckerlin 98-102. Green patina; with an unusually fine depiction of Christ. Traces of overstriking, otherwise, very fine.
