KINGS OF MACEDON. Philip II, 359-336 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 25.5 mm, 14.49 g, 12 h), Pella, c. 336/5-329/8. Laureate head of Zeus to right. Rev. ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟΥ Nude jockey on horse walking to right, holding long palm branch in his right hand and reins in his left; below horse, kantharos. Le Rider 344. SNG ANS 401. Toned and elegant. Some very slight die roughness on the obverse, otherwise, about extremely fine.
