Head of Athena to right, wearing Corinthian helmet; behind neck, Λ and grasshopper. BCD Akarnania -. Calciati 112. Toned and well-struck; a very rare variety with the grasshopper - much in demand by collectors of insects on coins. Traces of overstriking on the obverse, otherwise, good very fine.
