EUBOIA. Histiaia. 3rd-2nd centuries BC. Tetrobol (Silver, 14 mm, 2.38 g, 12 h). Head of the nymph Histiaia to right, wearing a drop earring, a pearl necklace and with her hair rolled and bound with a wreath of leaves and berries. Rev. ΙΣΤΙ - ΑΙΕΩΝ Nymph seated to right on stern of galley, holding stylis in her left hand and resting her right on the deck; on the side of the stern, wing; below, trident to left, TI. BCD Euboia 382. BMC 53. Obverse slightly off-center, die break on reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
