ATTICA. Athens. 32 BC. (Bronze, 20.5 mm, 6.38 g, 12 h), struck during (or shortly after) the visit of Mark Antony and Cleopatra to Athens in the summer of 32 BC. Laureate head of Zeus to right. Rev. A-Θ/E Bearded head of Dionysos to right, wearing ivy wreath. Kroll 144. Svoronos pl. 25, 36. Green-brown patina. Exceptional for issue. Very fine.
