CORINTHIA. Corinth. Circa 375-300 BC. Stater (Silver, 21 mm, 8.48 g, 10 h). Pegasus flying to left with pointed wing, below, Ϙ. Rev. Head of Aphrodite to left, wearing pearl necklace and Corinthian helmet; behind neck, Δ and Dionysos standing to right, holding kantharos and grape bunch. BCD Corinth -. Calciati 389. HGC 4, 1848. Ravel 1002. Gently toned and well-struck from artistically engraved dies. Minor scratches and marks, otherwise, good very fine.
