MESSENIA. Korone. Circa 100-50 BC. Hemidrachm (Silver, 13.5 mm, 2.31 g, 3 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Corinthian helmet. Rev. K-OP Grape bunch on vine within ivy wreath. Grandjean pl. XXVI, 2. BCD Peloponnesos 782 (same dies). Rare; toned. Pit on obverse, otherwise, about very fine.
