LAKONIA. Lakedaimon (Sparta). Circa 48-35 BC. Dichalkon (Bronze, 18 mm, 3.70 g, 6 h). Jugate heads of the Dioskouroi to right, each wearing pilos. Rev. Λ-A / Σ-Ι Two amphorae within wreath. Cf. BCD Peloponnesos 893,1 (Σ between the amphorae). Grunauer XV, 4, 14. HGC 5, 629. Green patina; excellent condition for this scarce Spartan issue. Very fine.
