Head of Demeter to left, wearing wreath of grain ears, triple pendant earring and pearl necklace. Rev. [Μ]ΕΤΑ Ear of barley with leaf to left; above leaf, griffin springing to right; below leaf, ΛY. HN III 1589. Johnston Class C, 6.7 (same dies). SNG Oxford 762 (same obv. die). Clear and of fine style. Slight die rust. Very fine.
