SICILY. Entella. Punic issues, circa 300-289 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 24 mm, 17.10 g, 1 h). Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion's skin headdress. Rev. Horse's head to left; palm tree behind; below, Punic 'MHMHNT. Jenkins, Punic 291 (O93/R239) SNG Fitzwilliam 1495 (same dies). SNG Lloyd 1655 (same dies). Strong, crisp strike and excellent metal. The Herakles head of fine Punic style, the horse head fiercely realistic. Reverse struck slightly off-center, otherwise, good extremely fine.
