THRACE. Chersonesos. Circa 386-338 BC. Hemidrachm (Silver, 13.5 mm, 2.35 g, 1 h). Forepart of a lion to right, his head turned back to left. Rev. The Pellet-I group of Chersonesos hemidrachms is well known, but is seems this type with a kantharos symbol is at the least extremely rare if not hitherto unknown.
