BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΛYΣIMAXOY Athena seated to left on throne, leaning her left elbow on her shield and holding Nike, crowning the king's name, in her right; behind, transverse spear with point below left; in inner left field, ivy leaf. HGC 3, 1750 corr (mint not listed). Thompson 27. A rare mint. Toned and struck in high relief with a fine portrait of Alexander the Great. Scratch on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
