MACEDON. Stagira. Circa 530-525 BC. Tetrobol (Silver, 11.5 mm, 2.62 g, 3 h), "Roses of Pangaeum" series. Three roses around central pellet. Above, forepart of a boar to left. Rev. Irregular incuse square. Gaebler, Münzen - (but cf. 1-2 for a Stater) . SNG ANS - (cf. 732 for a Stater). Very rare and possibly unpublished. Porous surfaces, otherwise, nearly very fine.
