KINGS OF MACEDON. Alexander III 'the Great', 336-323 BC. Drachm (Silver, 20 mm, 4.33 g, 12 h), Magnesia, circa 282-225 BC. Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion's skin headdress. Rev. ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ Zeus seated left, holding eagle in his right hand and scepter in his left; to left, monogram; in exergue, maeander pattern. Price 2009. Sharply struck with excellent details and well-centered. Good very fine.
