THRACE. Sestos. Circa 300 BC. Chalkous (Bronze, 11 mm, 1.16 g, 11 h). Facing herm on base between grain-ear to left and caduceus to right. Rev. Σ-Α Amphora. HGC 3.2, 1651. Von Fritze 5. Dark brown patina. Fine.

Although the vessel on the reverse is described as "Amphora" its shape is closer to a double handled lagynos.
