EUBOIA. Histiaia. 4th-3rd centuries BC. Chalkous (Bronze, 13 mm, 2.28 g, 6 h). Head of the Nymph Histiaia to right, wearing pendant earring and pearl necklace. Rev. ΙΣΤΙ Head and neck of bull to right, the head turned slightly towards the viewer; grape vines in background. BCD Euboia 513-520. Well-centered and with a very ornate reverse; brown patina with attractive light earthen highlights. Minor porosity, otherwise, very fine.
