IONIA. Ephesos (as Arsinoeia). Circa 290-281 BC. Octobol (Silver, 20 mm, 5.36 g, 7 h), struck under the magistrate Theophilos. Veiled and draped bust of Arsinoë to right. Rev. ΑΡΣΙ Bow and quiver; monogram and ΘEOΦIΛOΣ to left, bee to right. Svoronos 879. Cf. SNG Kayhan 279 (magistrate). Toned. Scattered pitting and old scrape beneath toning on reverse, otherwise, very fine.
