KINGS OF LYDIA. Alyattes II to Kroisos, circa 610-546 BC. Trite (Electrum, 13.5 mm, 4.70 g), Sardes. Head of lion to right, with open jaws and with a sun and rays on its forehead. Rev. Two incuse square punches. SNG Kayhan 1013. SNG von Aulock 2868-9. Weidauer 86-89. Attractive. Some minor marks, otherwise, very fine.
