PAMPHYLIA. Side. 1st century BC. (Bronze, 16.5 mm, 3.14 g, 7 h). Head of Athena to left, wearing crested Corinthian helmet. Rev. [ΣI]-ΔH Nike alighting to left, holding wreath in her outstretched right hand, palm branch in left. Cf. SNG BN 773-4. Dark green patina. Very fine.
This coin is unusual for Side in that the head of Athena faces to the left and it appears to lack a pomegranate in the field of the reverse.
