ΒΑΣΙΛEYΣ MEΓ ANTIOXOC EΠI Diademed and draped bust of Antiochos IV to right; on neck, circular countermark bearing an anchor. Rev. KOMMAΓ-HNΩN around Scorpion; all within laurel wreath. ACV -. Kovacs 254. RPC I 3854. For the c/m: Kovacs 2. Howgeco 373. Clear with a brown-green patina. Good very fine.



The countermark seems to have been applied on the coin after AD 69 .
