SELEUKID KINGS OF SYRIA. Antiochos II Theos, 261-246 BC. Drachm (Silver, 20 mm, 4.27 g, 11 h), Magnesia. Diademed head of Antiochus I to right. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ AN-TIOXOY Apollo seated left on omphalos, holding bow in his right hand and resting his lefton omphalos; in outer left field, monogram; in exergue, K. HGC 9, 248. Cf. SC 541 (controls). Extremely rare and seemingly unpublished. Very fine.
