SASANIAN KINGS. Shapur II (309-379 AD). PB (Lead) Unit (5.02 gm; 20 mm). Shapur bust turning right, two rings around the image, letters of "ShPRY" (Shapur) in front of face, group of triple dots behind the crown and shoulder, reverse; fire altar with attendant inside two ring. Small diagonal scartch on reverse field. Well struck on a nice broad flan. Double wreath. Nice original find patina. Choice VF. Extremely rare with well preserved details.
