QAJAR; Muhammad Hasan Khan (1747-1759 AD, 1161-1173 AH), AR Rupee (11.62 gm; 22 mm). Mashhad mint. Obverse, Shia Shahadah, reverse, Ya Ali Ibn Musa al-Reza, below the name Zarb-e Mashhad Date: 1161AH (1748 AD), a year after the death of Nader Shah. Extremely rare example as it is a combination of Type C and B in Album, Album A2828 but combination, not in Rabino or Farahbaksh. Choice EF. Lightly toned.
