Republic Li Yuan-hung Dollar ND (1912) AU55 NGC, Wuchang mint, KM-Y321, L&M-45, Kann-639, Chang-CH233, WS-0090, Wenchao-851 (rarity 1 star). Type without hat. A coin possessed of a pronounced antique appearance, something not often appreciable for this often mistreated and miskept emission. Close examination suggests only honest wear and contact marks exist, with no signs of the cleaning that is usually so ubiquitous on Li Yuan-hung's coinage. We note the presence of a small die crack extending from the rim to the vice president's shoulder, not to be confused with a scratch in the photographs.
